Information stored by Racket Pro
Racket Pro stores the information needed to run matches and tournaments. Depending on how you use the app, this can include:
- sport, score, server, point history, match configuration, dates, duration and match statistics;
- player names, team names and identifiers you create;
- tournament names, participants, teams, brackets, rounds and results;
- app preferences, onboarding progress and Quiet Match settings; and
- local trial status and the identifier of an active free-trial match.
This information is stored using Apple technologies, including SwiftData and UserDefaults. Active-match information used by Racket Pro's extensions is also stored in an App Group container shared by the Racket Pro app and its widget.
iCloud and Apple device backups
Racket Pro is configured to sync saved players, completed match history and tournament data through Apple's CloudKit service in your private iCloud database. This allows that information to remain available across compatible devices signed in to your Apple Account. Apple processes this information as the provider of iCloud under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Never Wonder Labs does not operate its own cloud service for your match data. Other local app data may be included in normal Apple device or iCloud backups depending on your device and backup settings. For that reason, we do not claim that every piece of app data always remains on one physical device.
Player and team names
Names are entered by you and are used to identify sides, players and tournament participants. They may appear in match history, tournaments, Apple Watch, widgets, Live Activities, the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Use nicknames or neutral team names if you do not want a person's full name to appear on those surfaces.
Apple Watch
Racket Pro uses Apple's WatchConnectivity framework to exchange active-match information between the iPhone and Apple Watch apps. This can include sport and match settings, scores, serving side, point history, player or team identity, tournament context, Quiet Match preferences and a basic trial-or-Full access state. This exchange uses Apple's device connectivity services and is not routed through a Never Wonder Labs server.
We do not make a separate claim about the encryption properties of WatchConnectivity beyond the protections Apple provides for its platform.
Widgets, Live Activities and Dynamic Island
To show and update an active match, Racket Pro makes selected match information available to WidgetKit and ActivityKit. This can include the sport, team or player names, scores, games, sets, serving side, match time and whether the match has ended.
These surfaces can be visible while the main app is closed and may appear on the Home Screen, Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Their visibility is controlled through your Apple device settings.
Purchases
Racket Pro Full is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Purchases, refunds and payment details are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Racket Pro reads StoreKit product and verified transaction information needed to show the localized price, complete a purchase, restore access and determine whether Racket Pro Full is active or revoked.
Never Wonder Labs does not receive or store your full payment-card number, bank details or Apple Account password. Trial progress is stored locally. Full access is checked against verified StoreKit entitlements rather than a Never Wonder Labs account.
Voice announcements and Quiet Match
Voice announcements use Apple's text-to-speech technology on iPhone and Apple Watch. Racket Pro does not request microphone access, record audio or send spoken match information to Never Wonder Labs. Quiet Match changes which announcements and presentation details are used; it does not add audio recording.
Data sharing, analytics and tracking
Racket Pro contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK or third-party tracking SDK. It does not send match data to a Never Wonder Labs backend. It does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
Information is processed by Apple services when you use features such as iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, WatchConnectivity, widgets, Live Activities and Apple backups. Those services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices.
Diagnostics and notifications
Racket Pro does not include a custom analytics or crash-reporting service and does not transmit custom telemetry to Never Wonder Labs. The released app does not request notification permission or register a custom push-notification service. Apple may independently process diagnostic or App Store information according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
Retention and deletion
Active-match information in the shared App Group is cleared when the app ends or clears that active session. Completed match history and tournament information remain in the app's SwiftData store and may continue to sync through iCloud.
Version 1.0 does not provide an in-app control for deleting individual completed matches or tournaments. Removing the app removes its local app container, but synced iCloud data or backup copies may remain. To manage or remove Racket Pro data stored in iCloud, use the iCloud storage controls in Apple device settings; the wording and location of those controls can vary by operating-system version. A StoreKit purchase remains associated with your Apple Account and may be restorable after reinstalling.
If you need help locating the applicable Apple storage controls, contact support@neverwonderagain.com.
Children
Racket Pro does not operate an account system, serve advertising or intentionally collect information directly from children through a Never Wonder Labs service. A device user can enter player and team names. Adults responsible for a device should avoid entering personal information that is not needed to score a match.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when Racket Pro's features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
